Nearly a year after its expected release date, A Walk Through Neptune's Garden
is finally available. This opening compilation from PAR-2 Productions
showcases up and coming Psy Trance artists from the US, Japan, Sweden and the UK.
PAR-2 Productions is a US based label focusing on releasing psychedelic music of
all forms from new and upcoming artists at realistic prices. PAR-2 Productions
was founded by Jikkenteki and Katapult and currently have offices in the US and Japan.
A Walk Through Neptune's Garden 2005 (PAR001)
Water is an ever moving, ever changing force of nature. From calm cool pools and flowing rivers to raging storms and massive floods, water is many ways natures equivalent to human emotion. It sustains us and gives us life. It can calm us and lull us to deep meditative states. It can also assault us with an aggressive onslaught that can be both amazing and terrifying. For this reason it serves has an ideal theme for linking the music on this compilation. Psychedelic music at it best can and should express the full range of human emotion. People are not one dimensional non-evolving creatures. We are at times shallow, at times deep, at times contemplative, at times aggressive, at times uplifting, at always emotional flowing from one feeling to the next like water coursing through rocks in a river. It is with this in mind that we compiled the music for "A Walk Through Neptune's Garden". Rather than dwelling on any one particular "style" of psychedelic music, we have tried to create a fluid sonic journey through the whole range of emotional content that psychedelic trance has to offer.
